Well, I think I'm finally on my way. I have a date set of May 1st. I'm scared to death and excited all at the same time. I was to have this done back in 2002, but 4 days before my surgery I became sick and was admitted to the hospital (Northside) and found out I have something called Wegeners Granulomatosis. After that I was told I was no longer eligable for gastric bypass. But I have improved greatly with the Wegeners and all 5 of my doctors have ok'd me for surgery. In 2002 I felt it was GOD's way of letting me know I wasn't supposed to do this, but now I feel it's my time. I have such a fear of becoming home bound from my wieght. I feel this time my prayers have been answered.
