My story... Well, I've always been chubby, (at least chubby is how we have always defined my weight.) I have a twin sister, who is "chubby" but she is thinner than me, by about 50lbs, and thats after she had a baby.
I remember always being the "fat" friend, in grade school, in high school, and in college. I've always just kinda laughed it off. But more recently in the last 2 years, I have put weight on like crazy, about 60lbs. I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago, and the doctors did what they usualy do, they through some presciptions at me. I finally just couldn't take it anymore, trying to make a pill make me better. So now I waite. I am currently on 3 medications, that I hope will be gone if I get the surgery.
I have begun the steps in getting the surgery, I have had my primary care make pleads, as well as my gyno and my endcronologist. I also have met with the Physicians assistant, the surgeon, the nutritionist, the psychologist, and had the ultra sound done. I just need to have my endoscopy done....
Right now I'm in the waiting period..
