Robert Shin
"My first impression of Dr. Robert Shin was that he was a very compassionate doctor. He was very imformative and friendly. Dr. Shin was very comfortable to talk with and answered all of my questions without hesitation. My initial impression did not change through out the consult. He is a very considerate doctor and has great knowledge of this surgery. Dr. Shin addressed the risks of surgery and the importance of aftercare. LifeQuest offers a terrific aftercare program. The staff at LifeQuest was terrific. From the Physicians Assistant to the Dietician and of course, Dr. Shin. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and I am looking forward to my meeting with Dr. Froese for my psych evaluation so that I may continue on with my goal. I am very pleased with LifeQuest because it offers every aspect of what is needed to be successful with this surgery. They have a dietician, a physical trainer and a psychologist on staff not to mention a gym to workout in. Not sure about bed side manner or competence but I can't wait to find out. (afterthought.. Beside manner was terrific Dr. Shin explained every pain and every thing that he did while I was in surgery. Dr. Shin stresses that this is only ONE part of my new life changes! And encouraged me to use all that Lifequest has to offer to help me with my new way of life.) I would reccommend LifeQuest to anyone considering this surgery. If there was one thing that would be negative it would be that Dr. Shin is new to this proceedure.(afterthought.. Dr. Shin is no longer new to this proceedure! I was his second patiend and he did a terrific job according to Dr. Stickler. I would have to agree!) But, with Dr. Stickler who has preformed over 400 surgeries with him and Dr. Shin's confidence and manerisms, I am more than willing to allow Dr. Shin to preform my surgery. "

"Everyone from the surgery staff to the PCU room were very nice. Except for one day shift nurse that seemed to be very preoccupied. The rest of the staff was very caring and wonderful!"
