I had lap band surgery almost 2yrs ago on July 24, 2009. Lost a total of 50lbs. Became discouraged with my physician so decided to visit Wade Barker in Dallas and came to find out that my band was not in the proper position and am unable to have any more fills due to the position it is in. The day I found this out I was devastated!!!! I cried all weekend being almost 2 yrs out and had only lost 50lbs. Don't get me wrong I am thankful for the 50lbs I lost but was not where I wanted to be at this time!!!! I am now scheduled for a revision surgery on July 11, 2011. I am going from the lapband to Gastric bypass and have to say I am so excited! I feel that I have found a fantastic surgeon and I know I am going to be successful this time around!
