Hi my name is Mike. As far back as I can remember I have always been heavy. As I have gotten older it's become much worse. I now weigh 440. Thanks to a co-worker friend who had surgery I was encouraged to seek surgery. It has surprised me how quickly its moved. I was married 24 years, divorced in August 2005. I have been ashamed to try to date, because I an so ashamed of my weight. I look forward to the day people will accept me for who I am, not the way I look. Well Dec2 I got the approval from Empire to have surgery. (1/26/09). Now I am nervous. I look forward to the day when I am healthy again and can meet a lady to start my life over.
