"Dr. Lord has a great bedside manner. He is very confident and easy going and easy to talk to. I had great confidence in him and was so happy with the surgery and his care. He is encouraging after the surgery and takes care to fill the lap band slowly so you get used to the restriction. He has a structured aftercare program with support meetings and makes sure that you have regular appts during the first year. I think the only complaint I have is I did an endoscopy 2 months prior to surgery and apparently I had a small haital hernia. I did not find out until my pre op appt one week before surgery. He seemed surprised that no one called me. Thankfully he said he was sure he could fix it but finding out a week before surgery made me nervous. But other than that, it was great experience and I would highly highly recommend Dr. Lord to anyone. "
