BMI Under 30!

I am now officially under BMI of 30. I am down over 80 lbs and I feel great.  people that have not seen me in a while say I look like another person.  I am just following the pouch instructions.  Drinking alot of water (Thank god for Fruit2O)   and I just always throw away half of a sandwich.  I just never allow large portions of food to be put in front of me.  I only wish I did this years earlier.

I was walking through a strip mall and there was a full length mirror that I passed by and I almost did not reconize myself. I mean, I almost waved at the person in the mirror thinking it was someone else...

I am still big but just a smaller big :-)

Hey, I ate a salad today and it stayed down "YES", I love salads.  But I am still following the pouch rules and everything works out great.

I work out every chance I get.  My energy is picking up. Simple things like washing car vs paying for it. Gardening, walking around the mall all counts. I eat meat, just very, very small portions. I ate one bite of steak and I was satisfied. The rest is veggies. Still drinking lots of water.

My clothes are falling off of me but I dont want to spend too much money on new clothes yet. I love that I can buy clothes off the rack now and not just at the big stores.

I dumped twice last week and one time it was for drinking to close to a meal the other was because I ate a little rice (rice is bad)  Sometimes you just forget.

I am also trying new foods.  Remember only try new foods at home.  The job is the wrong place to try a new food (Trust me)

I find myself avoiding some of my friends becuase they were my food buddies.  You know who they are.  The Hey Claude let go get some ......... (place any fatty food here)

I now go out with people that eat healthier.  But I must tell you, my fatty food friends did seem to have more fun...

2 months and I have lost 55lbs!!!  Most important is that I am not hungry.  Just follow the rules.  Protein in morning. very small meals.  chew to mush. workout, workout, workout.  Sometimes I am tired but I am doing OK. I eat veggie every other day. I am drinking lots of water. I only wish I had done this earlier in my life.

Based on my Dr's scale I have lost a total of 45lbs which is great.  I have learned that I should stay away from salty foods. I retain water  when I eat sunflower seeds and other real salty foods.  Once I stop eating them the weight drops off pretty fast. When I saw the dietian she just told me to keep doing what I a doing.

I ran out of holes on my belt and I had to get a new belt!!! I am getting on my wife's nerve since all my clothes look like they are falling off. My wife is afraid that sh is going to gain weight since I am not finishing her food. My weight loss has slowed down to about 2-3lbs per week which is still great. I find when I exersize I just fel better and charged for the day.

I have dumped twice in the last week. First time, I went to a Taiwanese restaurant with my wife (I have not taken her out in over a month), We ordered chicken and broccoli and I chewed real well.  We got home and I got sick. I guess I’m not ready for real food yet.  The next time I was driving and ate some soy nuts (High in protein). Soon after I was chewing some gum.  I figured out that I was full on the soy nuts and the saliva I was swallowing while chewing gum was making me over full.  I had to pull the car over and run to the side of the road so I could throw up.  I have learned not to push the process, Stay on the puree foods until the Dr gives me the OK.  Don’t rush it. But beside those two episodes, I have been feeling great. I have lost 35lbs in 4 weeks. My clothes feel great (I’m not stuffed into my clothes anymore)  My wife has asked me to stop wearing a pair of pant because she told me that they were too big on me. I continue to get my water in and I exercise like a mad man.  I cut my grass without the riding mower. My neighbor asked me if my riding mower was broken. I told him that I just wanted the exercise, He looked at me like I was nuts.  Still no hunger, no headaches, no appetite. I figure I am living on around less than 800 cal per day and that is even hard to get to. I am doing 2-3 miles on treadmill at around 4mph per day.  The only psychological problem I am having is that I love to cook. I am still cooking for the family like I am going to eat also and I  find myself frustrated when they don’t eat the food I cooked. Its like, hey you can eat this stuff enjoy, enjoy!!!  My wife told me to stop cooking, it a bad habit. I cook all the wrong foods. I need to start cooking healthier.  I made schezwan fried chicken, It smelled great.  I was too scared to eat it but I did taste the sauce.  Here is the scary part, I have lost 35lbs and I am still fat. I still have a belly and my thighs still touch.  Man, I was big!!! I am trying to lose as mush weight as I can in the first two month during the honeymoon period. Before the weigh loss slows down. Still no regrets.  I am now realizing how much food was the center of my life.  I now have to find alternate way to entertain myself and my family that is not center around food.

Three weeks and I have lost 30lbs!!

I am walking around 1 to 1.5 miles a day. I am living on slimfast and new-whey 42grams protein.  the only problem I am having is bad breath!! Its so bad its making me sick to my stomach.  Soo what I have been doing is using mouth wash as much as possible. I even have tounge scrapers at my job and in my car.  I am not having any problems gettig my water in.  My energy level is low but this was expected.  My big scar (lower left) still is sore and a little black & blue.  But I am doing great.  I am now fitting into smaller pants.  Feels great!!

Now let talk food,  everything makes me sick.  I can eat a little tuna or some broth but that is about it.  I don't feel hungry. I have no appetite or cravings. I have tried real food and it made me sick to my stomach. Three spoons and I must stop!!! Seriously I feel like I just came from a buffet.

For those that where wondering. I still have not appetite, but not pain, still living on  liquid protein and water. I am taking all my pills. Energy is low but better, I can walk around supermarkets and neighborhood without a problem.

Still no realy appetite, living on profect protein drinks, so I am getting in about 75 grams of protein a day and about 300-500 calories a day. My low calorie count is because everything I am digesting is either zero or less than 100 cals per serving (broth).

I feel great, no pain, its more like having a cut that is healing. If I make the skin pull then it stings.  I have been walking all the ailes at the supermarket and walking the neighborhood. doing about 2 miles a day.  Bowel movement is  normal. Hardest part of day is when family is cooking or having meals. Its not that I want to eat the food (Hunger) I just want to sample it (greed). It is also hard not watching my food shows. I just realized that almost 25% of my shows being taped by TIVO were food shows. I would watch them late at night while I snacked

I yelled at mt kids today and it felt like I pulled something.on my lower left. There is a big black and bruise there from the surgery. I call the office but they said that it is normal to have bruises, just to take it easy.  I'm bored, going to DMV to register cars early, change oil, stuff like that.

But I am feeling great!!!

Today I awoke to the sweet smell of bacon. my son was making it downstairs. my stomach immediatly started to rumble violently. I was not hungry, but I wanted that bacon.  This must be how a addict feels....  I simply got my protien drink and sat outside and got some fresh air. my stomach quickly settled down. I'm a pork addict. later that day to satisfy myself, I wend to my favorite chinese restaraunt and order wonton soup for take out. I maybe did 6-8 spoonfulls of the broth only but man did that feel good!!!

I still have no appetite, lots of water and walking and breathing excer.

very little pain, just some discomfort when I move around initially. Burping feels soo good.
