Shoveled snow for over an hour dripping from sweat head to toe came and logged my activity 645 calories is all I burned SERIOUSLY.  Where is the justice in that?  Happy New Year everyone 2011 the year of the LOSERS (pounds that is)

So I am two weeks post op today woke up from surgery thinking ok this isn't so bad until I tried to breath and was told I had to have a hital hernia repair as well which is common but mine was so severe he had to "tug" on my stomach which put some "stress" on my diaphram.  Bottom line last two weeks were not fun.   Woke up yesterday and notice it didn't hurt as much to breath after checking to see if I was dead.  (I wasn't).  I smiled laughed jumped out of bed stretched, sneezed and that didn't hurt to bad so I called my surgeon's nurse to ask to go back to work and I get to on Thursday.  I also got up this morning and made a list of all the food I have in the house since I was out a week longer then I originally thought I don't have alot of money for groceries but no worries have an appointment with nutionalist today so I am gonna give her my list and have her help me plan meals.  I am so happy and excited today. 

I did so well yesterday till I got home then I ate half a jar of almonds.  What is wrong with me??? why can't I stick to this diet or any diet?  Am I going to fail at this as well?

So I went shopping today stayed all on the outside aisles was surprise how expensive eating healthy is.  But went home and separated food out in individual little bags so have all meals planned this week.

Day 1 have surgery date quit smoking now I have to figure out how to go from my regular eating habits to 1200 calories a day.  Ok correct me if I am wrong but wasn't my surgery "team" suppose to help me with this?  If I knew what I was doing wrong with the way I eat wouldn't I be not so fat?  Just curious how this all works.  Oh well I guess I will have to figure it out on my own.  Off for my first walk.
