I go Thursday 2-15-07 for my 1st seminar..I'm kind of nervous because Dr. Shinn will then decide whether to do my surgery or not...But I'm also very excited to finally get rolling on this...Anyway, hope this finds everyone in good health and good spirits...

My name is Christa and I have been heavy most of my adult life. I've had some bad luck when it comes to health matters. In 1994 I was diagnosed with Graves Disease, had a total thyroidectomy, and since gained well over 100 lbs. I have two beautiful children, Bo and Lindsay. I want to have this surgery for myself but mostly for them. I really would like to go out in the yard and play....lol...
