"I really liked Dr. Gould. I felt that he was competent, friendly and easy to talk to. When I met with him for my pre op visit, both myself and my husband immediately felt comfortable with him. He answered all the questions we had and never made us feel rushed. When he stopped by to say hello right before my surgery, he made sure neither me or my husband had any other questions. The nurses at the Elliot Hospital also seemed to be very confident in his work, which I believe says a lot. My only disappointment was that I never saw him after my surgery when I was in the hospital; he spoke to my husband to let him know everything went well, but I guess I would have liked to have heard it from him for myself as well. My husband was extremely happy with him, as apparently as he was sitting in the waiting room, other surgeons would come in and talk to family in front of everyone else, but, Dr. Gould called him out into the hallway and spoke to him privately. That made Craig feel a lot better that nobody else was privey to our business, and I think that says a lot that Dr. Gould protected our privacy like that. I was happy with my post op care as well which included pain management, antibiotics and blood thinners. I liked the entire program at DHMC-Manchester, and would highly recommend it."
