Surgery delayed

So, this last week has been a hard one. I was admitted to the hospital on Friday for an infection in my abdomen. They have no idea where or why I have this infection. I am on strong antibiotics which have made me tired and weak. So, the doctors have decided to postpone my lap band surgery until Nov 14. At least this way I can still drink some margaritas in Cancun on my trip on Nov 2nd.
In the meantime, my live-in boyfriend lost yet another job after god knows how many, so I also decided it was time to end our 2 year relationship. He left last night to drive all the way back to Maryland, 1700 miles away, with our dog and cat. To be honest I am relieved because after my surgery, it really will be a new beginning. It didnt seem like he was very supportive about the surgery anyway. So, please wish me luck. I am a strong woman and I know I will get through this, but I know it will be hard.
