"My surgeon was actually Dr. Rothchild from Dr Schoen's office at University of Colorado Hospital. He is a fabulous surgeon. He was very caring, and even delayed my surgery two days because I had not followed the liquid diet as instructed (due to a misunderstanding). He said it was better to be safe than sorry and continues to be very concerned about my health and my well being. I would recommend him to anyone considering WLS. I think the only thing that could have been better is having all of the possible risks fully discussed before the date is set. Even in the hospital I had no idea how intense, painful, or serious this surgery was."
