He became even more impressive to me when I had trouble after surgery, even stood in the ICU holding my hand during some tough moments.
What did I like the least? What was there to not like? :-)
He knew I was from southern OH, so told me I didn't need to travel into NYC for follow-up unless I had trouble.
Regarding surgical risks, he answered my questions directly. My initial request was for a duodenal switch, and he used his information well, persuaded me to have a gastric bypass instead, due to higher risks associated with duodenal switch procedures.
He is terrific in all respects, could not ask for a brighter, more caring surgeon."
