HAVE A DATE!!

Went to see Dr. Jonathan Taylor (Baton Rouge, LA) on yesterday.  What a great man!  He walked me through my options and told me that we can have the surgery as soon as I was ready and insurance was approved.  I have several stomach complications so I can't get the Lap Band.  I am either getting the sleeve or the bypass but I will not know until they go in and see how severe my stomach problems are.

Either way - I am so excited about the opportunity to change my life.  I have been on an emotional and physical roller coaster for so long that I am looking forward to the weight loss and life changes.

I have a DATE - November 17th at 8 am.  This gives me the Thanksgiving week to recover before returning back to school (I'm a school teacher).  So the date is far away but that gives me time to work on my pre-op diet.  Get my pre-op diet education and instructions next Friday.
