Hi Carrie! First let me say that I'm soooo proud of you---you're only 10 lbs away from my 1st goal (200)! I can't wait for you to make it to 199 lbs so you can give me something to celebrate! As far as the exercise, I figure walking is still walking if you just take it at a nice pace. Once your Dr releases you, attack your treadmill like it owes you money (it does)!! I'm hoping I can continue this--no, thats self defeating. I WILL continue this--and SO WILL YOU!! I'm here for you if you need me. Thanks for giving me your words of encouragement. I really do need all the encouragement I can get! Luv Sharon...

I went today for my 6 month checkup and it was great. I have lost 95 pounds since my surgery 8/15/02 and am still loosing steadily. My last visit 3 months ago the surgeon said he felt I was loosing a little slow but today he said he was very pleased and that I was right on track. That was great to here. I'm so glad I had this surgery and if I could do it again (to get a tightening,lol) I would. Seriously though my appetite is increasing but nothing like it could be or used to be so I am very happy. Doc says I'm eating right about the amount he wants me to and it's not hard so what more could I want. Carrie

Sometimes the pain medication can make you itch. Demerol is one of the meds that makes you itch. YOu might want to tell your friend Ann. Also, YES tell her to make them get her pain under control!! hugs and well wishes to your friend and to you diane

CARRIE~~ 37 pounds in 7 weeks is AWESOME! Everyone looses at a different rate~ don't become discouraged. Please keep us posted on your progress. You are an inspiration to us all.
