Hello there! My name is Carrie and I'm having gastric bypass surgery on January 8th, 2007. I have a great family, my husband Scott and our 2 beautiful children - our daughter Skylar who is 2 years old and our son Jacob who is 9 months old. I have been overweight for much of my life. After my 1st pregnancy I didn't lose all of that weight and now still have many pounds to lose from my 2nd pregnancy. I always thought I was "fat" in high school and now I look back and I really wasn't until I started gaining my senior year. Throughout college and beyond I just continued to gain weight. My dad had WL surgery in December of 2003 and he has lost over 150 lbs. I hope that I can be as successful as he has been.
