"I had a friend who had WLS in April of 2004 and she had Dr. Davidson as her surgeon. She had a completely stressfree surgery and had done tremendously with her weightloss. She had told me that Dr. Davidson was no-nonsense and boy was she right. But I think his gruffness is his way of making you take responsibility for your own recovery and for knowing all the facts going into the surgery. I for one appreciated that! His office staff were very friendly and seemed to know exactly what to do and I left there knowing they would handle everything for me. Dr. Davidson and his staff are all about the aftercare program they offer. It is emphasized over and over how important it is to participate in your aftercare program(i.e., coming in for your check-ups, haveing blood work and bone density tests done, meeting with the dietician, exercising, etc). They are serious about aftercare!"
