Had my surgery May 15 2012 feel great
Thanks so much to all the wonderful people at St Francis East side
Thank you Dr C for being a great surgeon Thanks to all my family and friends
for all your prayers and support. Thank god for making it all possible
And to my son Danny in heaven I know you reached down and held my hand
I love and miss you so much. Thanks to my BFF Shirley for always being there
Well I guess now I can post my starting weight that only my doctor and god knew
before surgery I weighed in at 289.5  my heaviest weight last Aug. was 340
Good luck to everyone that has had or planing on WLS

My surgery date has been set May 15 2012 the first day of my new life and permanent weight loss journey
I am looking so forward to my new life After further discussion with Dr. C and have decided to have the bypass
Thanks to everyone at ST. Francis and all my family and friend that have give me your support. Thanks to a very special
friend although I can't publish your name here if you ever read this you will know who you are

Saw Beth Riley today yeah she gave me the go ahead for my surgery
Have been working with Leslie have lost about 19 lbs. I have a new out look on life
I have learned so much that I thought I knew if I would have had my surgery when I
was supposed to I would have been a faller I have over come many obstacles on this
journey I guess the most important one is you can never fill up that feeling that you have that is
not physical hunger but emotional hunger there is no amount of food that can take care of the brain.
and the fact you have to love yourself first before anyone else will. I want to share a little story that happened
to me Wed. night I was in Bi lo getting groceries I received a text message that hurt me bad as I was walking around there
trying to finish my shopping and not cry in the store, I started thinking well I need some comfort food so I went over to
the candy isle looked at the peanut M&M my favorite candy well I didn't put them in the buggy next I went to the cookie and donut section thinking the whole time I'm going to buy my old ex friends and just go home eat it all and cry of course I had to go to the ice cream and chip section so far I had not put any of these items in my buggy after looking at them and thinking they would offer me the comfort I craved then it was like something in my mind clicked and told me I didn't need those things to make me feel better that I had to get my happiness from within I wanted my health a lot more than I wanted that junk and I think then I decided to love myself for who I am not for anyone else.So anybody that is considering the surgery make sure you get the psychology help and the nutrient help because without that I would not be getting ready to start on my new journey  Thank You Beth and Leslie for directing me on the right road and thanks to my family and friends for being there and to God for leading me to these caring people  And to my wonderful son in heaven looking down and cheering for me I am going to make it son I love and miss you so much. And one more person I can't mention a name but they gave me back some of my self confidence.

Ok had a set back , but that's not new to me. It just makes me stronger and
 more determined. I have found a wonderful Dr. at St. Francis in Greenville . Thank you so much
Dr. Chaudhari  and also thanks to Jessica Allen  I am so excited to start on my journey of my new life.
Anyone that is having prombles don't give up keep fighting to get your weight loss tool. There is someone
out there that will believe in you and help you to achieve your goals. Will post again soon as have my surgery date.
Thank you god for being with me and making this possible. And a special thank you to my loving son who is watching
out for me from heaven. I love and miss you Danny .

Saw Dr R. on June 29. got sorta bad news but still ok
He found an issue that could cause problems if I have
gastric by pass. He suggested I have lap band instead . I am
sorta disappointed I won't get to lose the weight as fast, but that's ok.
I know I will have to work a little harder to lose the weight but that's ok
I am ready for the challenge . My surgery is secluded for Aug 29 I can't wait.
Just have to get through the Insurance and the tests. I decate this fucture
weight loss to my son who I lost Nov. 18 2009 due to morbid obesety.

Hi, well I finally have my 6 months diet under my belt.
I have an appt. with Dr. Rowitz Wed. I am so excited I
can't wait to have the surgery and get my life back. Please
pray I get my insurance approved with no promblem and can
have my surgery soon. I promise once I see the Dr. Wed. I will write
about my journey because I have so many questions I would like to discuss
with someone that has been there. So if anyway possibe I want to start
writing about my journey the day of my surgery and will answer any questions
for someone that is going to go through it.

Hi, I am hoping to have surgery within the next 7 months
Is there anyone on here from upstate SC that has had surgery
recently with DR. Rowitz's . Would love to communicate with someone
