So I've decided to go on a two day experiment...when I wake up later today I'm going to weigh-in.  Tonight at work I will drink 5 servings of Carnation's Instant Breakfast Essentials (no sugar added, of course!) and eat one "regular" meal (I've planned grilled chicken, Green Giant's Just For One Broccoli and Cheese, and some watermelon!).  This "plan" is much like the OptiFast diet that my friend is being required to follow prior to her WLS (Go Anna!!).  Earlier tonight we compared the nutritional information - OptiFast and these Carnation things are very similar in nutritional value...but the Carnation I can pick up at Ingles without a prescription!  :)  Anyway - I'm going to follow this "plan" for the next two days and when I wake up Wednesday afternoon I'll weigh-in again and see if I have any results.  I know it's only two days, but certainly (hopefully?!?) I'll lose a pound or two and hopefully that'll be enough to motivate me to do more!!

So - stay tuned friends...we might jus be onto something here!  :)
