I FINALLY CAN SEE THE "LIGHT" OF DAY....

I'm in the middle of my 3rd week, post-op from my extreme makeover plastic surgery. I am finally beginning to feel like I can see the light of day so to speak. The whole makeover was truly less painful than having 28 crowns placed in my mouth in June. I'm truly blessed to have my OH friends' support and encouragement. I just uploaded a picture of my plastic surgeon and I taken the night before I left Costa Rica. It will take about 6 mos. for the scarring to fade and I've no regrets only encouragement to those that read this and are wondering if it's worth it....TRUST ME....JUST DO IT!

July 26, 2008 - 17 months after my gastric bypass surgery. I still love food and I used to live to EAT... now I pretty much just eat healthy and a couple times a week, I will have something small and sweet. I highly recommend that if at all possible, you eat the rest of your life every 2 hrs. and the portion would be about 5-6 bites of food. I hate exercise, but, I have used a walk-away the pounds video CD on my laptop for about 3 miles at least 5x's a week as I watch the TV.
PLASTIC SURGERY: I am writing this from my hospital bed in San Jose, COSTA RICA and I had a tummy tuck, face and neck lift, eyelid surgery (upper/lower) on July 16th. Even though I have lost 119 pounds and am now a size 4-6, everything went South (LOL). I have not worked in 15 yrs. and I used to be a corporate legal secretary/assistant. This whole journey that began 17 months ago is hard work everyday, but, it has saved my life and most of all, it has given me back the feeling that

I JUST RECEIVED MY SURGERY DATE AND I WEIGH 257LBS. I AM ABSOLUTELY OVER THE TOP WITH EXCITEMENT AND HOPE. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF MY NEW LIFE. I'VE BEEN GIVEN A NEW LEASE ON LIFE AND IT IS AN ANSWER TO PRAYER.
