First consolation was a success!

As of yesterday, I went to see the bariatric surgeon and got some great news! I basically am going to get approved right away with just my BMI alone. Apparently I have very good insurance, Im most likely looking at getting surgery sometime in november. This is all very exciting. Ive been doing a lot more research and also Ive went ahead and started taking a multi vitamin every day so I can get used to having to regularly taking pills.
While I had lots of good news yesterday, it really did put a damper on my mood. I havent weighed myself in over a year and when I saw that number, I almost started bawling. Ive hit 377 and my bmi is at 59, this is the biggest I have ever been. I knew I was over 300, but I had no idea I was almost 400. Because of how I carry my weight and because Im fairly tall (Im about 5'7" - 5'8") I didnt realize how heavy I was. It would explain why my back has been hurting worse than it ever has lately.
But, we are planning on doing something similar to SIPS, just with a few different things in different spots. Its more likely to make me lose more weight and also Im at less risk for gaining it back, so thats good. My mom, sister, and husband were all so supportive of me, it was very nice. On top of that, everyone in that office was just so nice to me, especially my nurse. Its so great to be in such a positive environment full of people who know what its like to be in my situation.
My next appointment is the 15th and I have to turn in a food diary on the 23rd. I cant wait till then.
First Big Steps

In two days, I will have my first doctors appointment with a bariatric specialist and find out what my insurance company wants me to do to get approved. I have blue cross and blue shield through my dad's work health plan. From what I hear, my insurance plan seems to be a very good one and I may not have to do the thing where they make you wait 6 months. I just worry what else I might have to do.
Its been such a busy month for me. On September 5th, I got married to J.R. Willis, a man Ive been with for 4 years now. We had a very nice pirate themed wedding which took about a year to plan. Ive also just had my birth control stick (The Implanon) taken out of my arm this month. It was about a year over due to be removed. Im glad I had it taken care of. Although, because of my size, I seem to not be able to have children right now. My body physically cant do it. The weight coupled with my PCOS is just preventing me from making fertile eggs. Im hoping that the weightloss surgery will help fix that.
Anyway, bit of a tangent for my first blog post, I hope things go well at the doctors office.
