I just can't believe I have not posted for this long. I guess I've been too busy making sure that I'm doing everything right since my surgery. I'm 4 months out as of today and I feel great. I wish I would have done this sooner. Since my surgery I've lost around 63lbs. This last month I've been kinda on a plateau, but it doesn't bother me because I'm so happy with what I have lost so far and I know it will not last long. I still have problems getting all my water and protein in for the day but all I can do is just try to do better day by day. On 4/10/08 Thursday I will find out from my Dr how my 1st set of labs went. Hope all goes well.

Well being home from the hospital feels really good. My surgery lasted 6 hrs because I also had a hernia repair and gallbladder removed. I feel really good and really no pain just sore. Went out this morning and walked to the mail box. It felt good to get out and get some air. Well off to the sip sip sip and rest then walk walk walk.

Well it has finally arrived, the night before surgery and I'm so excited but also a little scared, but I know I'm in good hands. I have my little bag packed with robe, brush, toothbrush, slippers, magazines, and Ipod. My boyfriend will pick me up at 4:45am and off I go to a new beginning. All I know that it is finally here after 2 1/2 yrs of research and finding the right Dr that I feel comfortable with. Well off to rest before the BIG DAY!

Well I started the liquid diet and it hasn't been bad so far. Ask me that on Day 3 lol I am keeping a positive attitude because this is the 1st day to a better and healthly life. I'm so excited for that.

It sure has been awhile since I was last here. Well I really enjoyed my Thanksgiving meal with family and friends. I ate so much and enjoyed every bite because starting tomorrow I will be on my 10 day liquid diet and surgery Dec 5th. My emotions have been so all over the board these past couple of weeks. I've cried, laughed, been so quiet that people think I'm not feeling good. I just can't stand it no more. Hurry up Dec 5th.

Its only been about a week since I set my surgery date and it feels like months. I can see that it is going to drag on and just go sooooooooo slow to get to Dec 5th. Now the waiting game. I'm kinda getting into the depressed stage. I'll just have to keep up my exercising and  just clean my clean house. Just had to vent.

 I finally have a surgery date, which is Dec 5th the same day as my 13th anniversery at work. I'm sooooo excited that this is finally going to happen. Off to a new journey in life.

This wait for Oct 9th to set my surgery date is sure taking along time. It is driving me nuts. I went back to work on Sept 17th after taking a 4 1/2 month break and let me tell you that I ache all over after standing on my feet all day and using muscles that haven't been used in awhile. This is another reason I need this surgery. This extra weight that I'm carrying around doesn't help. I'm soooooo miserable and can't stand it no more. I just want to cry . Well at least I should be thankful that I got approved  which I truly am.

Well today is the day I got approved. I have so many emotions going thru me right now. Excited, scared, wishing my Mom was here so I could talk to her about all this.  Anyway, will be going to the doctor on Oct 9th to go over everything about the procedure and any questions that I might have. Thanks to OH I have alot of questions to ask. Well I hope I can sleep tonight with all this excitement LOL

Well I went for my last nutritional meeting and saw my surgeon today. I feel really good about this decision. I lost 15lbs this month now I'm just waiting for 2 Drs to send in their reports and then insurance approval. My Dr said I should have no problem getting approved. I met all the criteria. Can hardly wait. I'm getting so excited.
