Just had my initial appointment yesterday. Met with surgeon, did labs, met with nutritionist. It was definitely a lot of information and a lot to take in, but the whole thing also made this all very real. I am now waiting to get the psychologist appointment and then schedule the surgery. I am so excited and so terrified at the same time.
I am looking forward now to getting a date and making the surgery official. That will be my second step.
