Okay, yesterday marked my second week post post.  I had my follow up appt with my surgeon on 7-15-10 and he gave me very good news.  He said I will do well with this surgery and I was on the right track.  He confirmed that I have made the right decision.  I have lost a total on 23lbs and pretty excited about that.  I was very nervous stepping on the scale because I thought I should have lost more.  I really thought I would have since I have not really been consuming very much.  I don't know if it's fear or what???  He told me schedule my first fill for the first week in August.

I got back to work on Monday and I will be able to start a true workout schedule.  I know I will see "True Results" coming at that time.  Thanks for all of the support I have received and will receive from my fellow bandsters.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Okay..today is much better that yesterday.  I experienced the gas discomfort last night and it was noooo fun.  Today is much better than yesterday.  I'm still in a lil pain getting up and down but it's managable.  I don't know why I'm scared to try the broth but I know I need to do something to get some substance in my body.  Instead, I have to smelled all the great food today and not be able to have anything :-(!!!  I will try to stay positive and look for the bigger reward in a few months.
