I started my journey to WLS in December 2007. It originally was not suppose to begin until January, but luckily someone cancelled. I was done with all my Pre-OP tests by March 2008. It took my surgeon's office about a month and a half to get my approval because some incorrect information was sent in and I had to go through the Psych Eval once again. I was finally approved to have my surgery on May 27, 2008.
My surgery is scheduled for August 4, 2008 at Presbyterian, Charlotte, NC. This is going to be a long awaited journey, but I can't wait to start a new and healthy life with my Husband and almost 2 yr old daughter. I will keep everyone posted.
