Dear Cathleen..I too believe in the power of God. I am sure you are right on why you got sick. Now when you have surgery you will also have your grandmother in surgery with you. I am sure she will make sure you are in good hands and have a good recovery. Best to you. Mary rny aug 4th 04

I have to share this for all that believe in the power of GOD. My original surgery date was last Friday and as I mentioned in a previous posting I got sick and had to reschedule. I could not figure out why! Why would I get so sick the week of my surgery. Well, my grandma passed away on Saturday. Had I had my surgery, I would have been in the hospital and my family would have been with me and not with her when she died. Her service is Friday and hopefully I will be up to travelling, but if not that's ok. This is something she really wanted for me. She's at peace and happy with my grandpa. Thank you again to everyone for their kind words of support. You don't know how much it has meant to me. God's Blessings Cathleen

Thank you so much to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and well-wishes! I had to re-schedule my surgery for next Weds. I've had a Sinus and Double ear infection this week....ugh! I'm feeling better, but thought it best to postpone the surgery a few days! I am ready to become a BIG "loser". (Never thought I'd say that! LOL) Thanks again Cathleen
