" * What was your first impression of him/her?rnThat he was smart- even though I had to help him with the projector in his presentation- I figured what the hey- he's a surgeon, I'm a systems analyst, let's work it out! rnrnSeriously though- he is a very kind, caring individual. rnrn * How did your impression change over time?rnJust more confident in knowing that I made the right decision. rnrn * How would you describe his/her office staff?rnvery helpful- I call almost every other day, and they don't ever act annoyed. They might be- but the pretend to not mind it :) rnrn * What did you like least about him/her?rnHis office chairs- but he knows this- we've had a discussion- he's moving offices, so I'm not gonna be too hard on him. rnrn * What should future patients know about him/her?rnHis sense of humor is slight, but very witty- He's just good- and your safety comes first. rnrn * How much does he/she emphasize aftercare?rnHe's devoted to his patients. rnrn * How did he/she address the risks of surgery?rndiagrams, coffins and pictures...rnnot really- but he's forthcoming about it. He gives you all the information you needrnrn * How would you rate him/her overall?rn1-10 - I'd give him a 10rnrn * Which is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great?rnSurgical competence- both are important, and he's good at both- but since I was self pay- I didn't care how \"nice\" he was or wasn't- I needed to know- without a doubt- he was confident in his ability and on his game-rnrnI met with 3 different surgeons before I chose him. Best choice I ever made. "

"They seemed great- the whole hospital. the only big complaint I have is that the first night- probably the worst night- right after I had surgery- they had the heater on instead of the air conditioner- I began to sweat in places I didn't even know I had... it was gross. "
