"My first impression?I thought he was very knowledgeable & willing to answer all my questions. I also thought he seemed caring & humorous...good bedside manner. rnrnSince then, my impression has changed drastically!! Why? Well, I'll make a LONG story short. I had gallbladder problems prior to surgery & was told he would take it out. He did NOT take it out as promised, and now I not only have to go through another completely avoidable surgery but have had to suffer with more pain & nausea!!rnrnThe staff is pretty nice. However, I've had a VERY hard time getting anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. Considering that I've had surgery, you would think it would be important to them to get back with there patients. I guess not though.rnrnI really don't know how to address the other questions. I think addressed the important stuff.rnrnOverall, I rate him, out of a scale from 1 - 10 w/ 10 be the best... I guess I'll give him a 4. In spite of the gallbladder situation, he did do a good job on my Lap RNY, and my scars are awesome for only being 4 months out!rnrnI think surgical competence is much more important than bedside manner. However, bedside manner is very important too!!"
