I had an open RNY on July 21,2008. On friday I was discharged from the hospital. On saturday morning I was rushed back to the hospital and was rushed into emergency surgery. They had to go in and redo my surgery. I had an abcess and nothing had healed. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks. I was discharged again and was out of the hospital for 4 1/2 days before going to ER to be admitted again for an infection in my wound. I have been in the hospital for 3 weeks now. I have had cat scans done, blood tests run, and much more. I had a stricture that had to be stretched. My wound is infected again. I have a g-tube that has been pulled out 3 times and replaced. I am now on tube feeding that I can tolerate.
