So aparently, I have a new doc and his name is John Gonzalez, but that is all I could tell you (I got his name from my insurance company). I called my insurance company today to check to see if they received the information for the office and after getting the run around from them, I finally found out that they received the fax on 3-1-2008. If you ever have to deal with Aetna, ask the person who is most helpful to you over the phone for the DCN number of the fax...it makes it a ton easier to find out the status if you have that number. I am praying that they approve it this time. I figure I would call in a few days to check the status.

OK so here is the list of stuff that I have to have taken care of before the insurance will apporve it.
Behaviorial Health Consultant - done
Surgan Consultant - done
3-6 month diet - done
5 year weight history - done
Dietary Consult - done
Sleep Study - scheduled for 1/27/2008
Labs - 1/22/2008
I am really getting excited! I just can't wait until I find out if my insurance is going to cover it and if I get the surgery scheduled for February...otherwise he said that it would be sometime this summer. That would bite! I would like to look halfway decent in a pair of shorts when we take our kids to the beach this summer. If I have to wait till this summer to get the surgery, we will have to put off our vacation till next summer. Pray for me!
