Today was the day I got to write "1 Day until gastric bypass" on my countdown board, and it feels so amazing! The wait is finally over, and the day has come at last.

Tomorrow is the day that my life will change forever, and I can't wait for to start this adventure!

A few days ago, I got a call from my surgeon letting me know that he was pushing back my surgery date by one week in order to see more weight loss resutls from the pre-op liquid diet.

While I was very upset and frustrated upon hearing this, I have been working my butt off since that phone call, preparing for my new surgery date of August 8th. yay~

This liquid diet is super rough, though. Lightheadedness has become a daily occurrence (which really sucks because I can't drive when in dizzy and light headed). Another struggle for me has been choking down these protein shakes. Sometimes they trigger my gag reflex, or I'm drinking them in tears because I'm so sick of the taste...ughh

I know I sound super dramatic, but it's been really hard. I'm trying to keep in mind my goal, and how this is all gonna be so worth it when I start to see and feel the results. I'm going to keep working to stay positive in the meantime!!!!
