My name is Tessee and I am 41 years old. I decided to have this surgery when I finally realized that I could not lose wight on my own. I have four children...Rodney 17, Ravin 15, Rhythm 13 and Ryan 3 and it means everything to me be around for their adult lives and the surgey was one way to get a handle on the situation . I had my surgery at INOVA Fairfax Hospital located in Virginia and it was the best experience of my life. Beautiful hospital, wonderful staff and an excellent Doctor. My starting weight was 264 and I was wearing a size 20-22. I am now wieighing in at 193 and wearing a size16. I could not be more comfortable with my weight now, however, It's not my goal. I will keep pushing and I will achieve. It's who I am and what I do
