John C. Alverdy
"When I first met Dr. Alverdy. I was extremely impressed. He had a demeanor that made my husband and I feel at ease. I still like the fact that when I go for my checkups, I still feel the attitude that he loves what he does. He is very pleased that this surgery has changed so many peoples lives. I cant really say there is anything I don't like about him. Actually there is one area. When I email him I dont seem to get a response. I usually end up calling on the phone. He's up front and to the point ( which I like). Dr. Alverdy is a very down to earth kind of guy. He does not make you think you are inferior in any way. he likes to mingle as part of the group. After care is a much harped subject. He is so adament on the care after words, that you know every step before leaving the hospital. I live 5 hours away from the hospital in Chicago, so I was told that if any complications arose I would be air lifted to the hospital, then his care would take over. As I stated above he is very up front and to the point. He tells you the risks and answers any and all questions thrown at him. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate him a 11. He is so caring and compassionate about his work. Both are very big pluses. If a doctor is as good at bedside manner as he is at surgery, he is one blessed surgeon."
