3 Weeks Away

My surgery is scheduled for 2/9/2007. I've gone through all the pre-auth testing, and looks like I'm in "good shape" (excuse the pun) to have the procedure. 3 weeks from now i will have a rubber band around my stomach, and i'm really excited!
I've had everything done at Englewood so far. I know i am biased, and I hope that my being an employee hasn't entitled me to special treatment, but everything i have had done to date, the ultrasounds, labs, Chest X-Ray, Sleep Study, etc went increadibly smoothly. All of the clinicians i've dealt with were not only extremely supportive, but increadibly caring in their deelings with me. Wait times were minimal, and the overall experience was excellent.
Once QualCare gives the go ahead, then i'll be ready to go under the knife. To be honest i'm even excited about the post-op diet. Regardless of the band I know i'll drop some weight being on clear liquids and protein shakes for a few weeks.
