April 13 was one year. When I got on the scale I was down 201 lbs! I can not believe what progress I have made.
My life has changed so much.

I can not believe how much my life has changed since April 13, 2009!
I feel great! And if I do say so myself I am looking good too.
I had gastric bypass on April 13 and was home on April 14th. Less then 24 hours after surgery. I slept in the recliner for about 4 weeks. That was the hardest part. I did not even take pain meds. once I got home.
I know it's not the same for everyone and I feel so fortunate to have done so well.
I have a wonderful support system and that is very important.
I went back to work 6 weeks after surgery and feel great.
The weight is coming off very well. I could not be happier.
I wish all upcoming surgeries well! And good wishes to all that have had surgery! And for all that are thinking about surgery, do your research and learn all you can. It is a life changing event.
