Well, my name is Brandy Calloway and I am from Logan WV... I am overweight and have been all my life. I have been researching gastric bypass surgery since I was 18 years old and feel that it would allow me to live again. My weight affects my everyday life from going out for a walk to just holding a 9-5 job... I have medicaid and have tried to lose weight in evey way but never was able to have it documented by a physician. I am checking into getting Mountain State Blue Cross Blue Shield to help with the surgery but am scared they will not allow me to get it because I have medicaid. If I could sit down and talk with the person who approves these decisions I believe they wouldnt even have to think about it... Please pray for me and if any one has had the surgery with either of these ins. providers please email me and let me know how to start the process please.
