Post Op Surgery

I had my surgery on the 14th, and boy am I in Pain but in the end I believe it will all be worth it. I have my meds now and just have to take them. I had a complicated surgery because when I finally came to they said that i had a hernia that if they hadnt removed it I would have either been back in for emergency sugery or died in two weeks. I am trying to adjust to my diet and I think I am doing fairly well. They said that they think I am doing remarkabley well for having the complications and things. I waqs up walking that same night and sleeping most of the day. I was up walking about twice a day. I think I am doing well too counting what I have been through. I am about to go to the bathroom and bed right now though and see if I can get the pain to go away as much as possible. It is hard to believe I was looking forward to this a few days ago but then again I didn't know I had a hernia on top of everything then either. I know it gets better I just have to get past the road bumps and do what I can.
