Hello, It has been a long time since i have posted an update. I have been too depressed, but was not losing and I thought I was a failure but I finally broke the 50 lbs gone mark and I am determined to keep going!! i increased my fluid intake and changed my exercise to bike riding and weight lifting and that seems to hae helped. I am so excited I wish I could call everyone I know and tell them!! My clothes are getting too big!! YIPEE!! The weight loss make all the effort and hard work of learning how to change eating habits worth it!! Thanks to my support team!

Went to the surgeon yesterday. I am now on regular foods. I get to go back to work on Friday, and I cant wait. When I went to work today to give them my release I got a lot of postive comments. As always there was one bad apple who was kinda mean. I am getting nervous now about trying new foods, and not being at home. I work in a hospital so there is always "junk food" around, But I am determined to drink water when everyone else is eating the junk! I am down 1 size already, so there is my inspiration!

Its been 3 weeks since my LAP RNY, and I have lost 24.5 lbs!!! I still get tired and have trouble getting my fluids in but I'm working on it. The "head" hunger is getting better as well. I only have 2 more weeks on pureed, then on to soft foods!! Go back to see surgeon Oct 15th. Will update again then. Thanks to my Angel Bob and my AMOS friend Tracey...

HI Bobbi Hope you had a safe journey to the other side. Keep us posted "Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, any one can start from now and make a brand new ending." "I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning." ~ J.B. The admitting is often very difficult." ~ Julia Cameron "The block of granite which was an obstacle in the pathway of the weak becomes a stepping-stone in the pathway of the strong.
