My Story...For as long as I can remember I have been overweight, seems to run in my family.  By some miracle I managed to find a man who loved me for who I was, I married him before he could change his mind. lol  With him being in the military, soon after we were married we moved out of state, where I fell into the role of housewife.  For the most part I enjoyed my new role in life.  But with it came new unwanted pounds.  During this time a met a woman who was in the process of having WLS.  My husband and I discussed it but at the time felt I was a little too extreme for us.  Within a month my husband was off to Iraq, I went back home to be with my family.  During that time a packed on a few extra pounds due to depression.  Once he returned, we both knew now was the time for us to start a family.  But just like the military weeks after discovering we were pregnant, he was sent back to Iraq.  Now lets speed up to present day... Hubbys home safe, have a beauitful five month old baby girl, and what feels like a ton of unwanted pounds.  So after being faced some problems during pregnancy and a need to be there for my daughter's future we have decided that now is the time for WLS.
