"Dr. Wheeler has been very thorough in his pre op testing and information. I had to attend classes to learn about nutrition, what to expect after surgery and each stage of the diet process after surger. His staff and the staff of King's Daughters Medical Center Weight Surgical Weightloss department has been very supportive and informative. Dr. Wheeler is very up front and honest about what the risks are and what the potential complications could be. But he takes every precaution possible to prevent complications and to make sure his patients are well informed and prepared. The aftercare program is very structured and taught in detail to each patient prior to surgery. I have not had my surgery yet but it will be soon. I will update when the time comes."
