"I had a great experience at New Hanover. I was told by the nurse that they usually try and give the bariatric patients there own room. Which was exactly what I received. My husband was allowed to stay overnight and they gave him a "sleep chair" that made his stay more comfortable. When I walked around the floor, I noticed all other surgery patients were doubled up in their rooms. They had to share a room, but I got a private room. It was awesome!"
"I really liked Dr. Harris. Several people at work had Dr. Harris as a surgeon, so I was a little prepared when I first met him. He's very \"to the point\" and took a lot of time to explain the surgery in detail. He answered all of our questions thoroughly. His nurse Terri was also great. She always responded to my calls in a timely manner and was very supportive during my visits. "
