"My PCP recommended Dr. Johnelle for my surgery. I also have a couple of friends who work/have worked at NCMC and only had good things to say about him as a surgeon. Dr. Johnelle himself strikes me as a friendly, but busy man. I feel comfortable talking with him, and he seems very knowledgeable. When I have a question he answers it thoroughly, but sometimes I feel a bit rushed when he's around. It's not that I feel he's not paying attention to me, because he is paying attention. He just has this air about him that makes you feel like you need to be moving. rnrnWhat impressed me most at the Bariatric Surgery Services office is that the entire team is very friendly and willing to help out. I met with the nurse, dietician, billing specialist, and several others long before my surgery date was even set. I know that I can call any of them at any time with questions. rnrnThere are several optional classes available and a mandatory class for aftercare. My appointments are only a few weeks apart for the first year and I feel well cared-for. Overall I have been very impressed with Dr. Johnelle and his team, and I am thrilled with the results of my surgery."
