Ok, so here I sit in front of this computer AGAIN....I can't seem to pull myself away from it when I get started.
Well my surgery date is scheduled for March 19th and I am ready. I have two more appointments before the actual surgery. One is the pulmonologist and the other is the cardiologist....I have to go back to him for an echocardiogram.
Good news though....the psychologist said I wasnt crazy. I told those little people under my bed that I wasnt crazy. Ha! Shows them!
Im as nervous as I have ever been. Im also scared shitless but I know this surgery will give me the step-up that I need. Anyhow, I need to find something to do.....maybe sleep??

Well, my initial consult went very well. I have to go back Jan. 22nd and 23rd for my physche, pulmonary, cardiovascular, and dietician consults. Im so friggin' excited because they have scheduled my surgery date....March 19th!!!! It is kind of cool because my birthday is March 25th so it is like an early birthday present...lol.
Anyhow, I just wanted to post this for anyone that happens to read my postings! Later taters.

Alright, so here is the deal. For the past two years I have been trying to get on Social Security Disability just for the MediCare. Well it finally happened! About two months ago I got the letter from the Administrative Law Judge saying that I had been approved. They said my disability went back as far as January 2004 which is good because that made me eligible for MediCare.
Well I got my MediCare card about two weeks ago and faxxed it to Dr. Ronnie Keith in Norman, OK. He has been so helpful even before I had the medical insurance. He was trying to find a way to get me the surgery because all of my doctors have said it was life-threatening if I didn't get it soon.
I got a call from the doctor's office today and my initial consult is set for 01/12/07. I have already gone to the seminar so that is out of the way. I am so happy that all of this has fallen in place. I just hope everything else works out without any bumps in the road.
