Well I just got a call from my Doctor's office I was originaly scheduled to have surgery Nov.3 but they have a cancelation next week and they asked if I wanted to come in next week, well I didn't hessitate and said YES! Tomorrow morning I need to be at the hospital so they can poke and probe me one last time to make sure everything is ok before they cut me like a carp. Pray that all goes well tomorrow and next week while I'm under the blade. Thanks BigSteve.....

Update 9/25/04
I had surgery Tuesday came home Friday and I feel great! I had some pain and discomfort after surgery but it subsided as the meds kicked in. I must say Dr. Hess and his team are awesome! They made me feel comfortable before and after the surgery. Once I was put into my room the nursing staff at BMC was A1 all treated me well and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed! Those ladies are great at what they do and are credit to the nursing profession! All in all it was well worth the time and effort to have this done I would do it again!!!!

Update 10/5/04
I'm two weeks post op today. I went to Dr. Hess yesterday to have the drainage stiches removed and to get weighed. I lost 21lbs WOO HOO! I also saw Wendy Anderson and she put me on stage 4 puree/soft food. I would have never believed 3oz of tuna would fill me up, I LOVE IT!!

Update 10/22/04
Feeling good I'm starting to notice the weight loss. Starting to feel hungry. Well I think I'm hungry? Not sure If I'm head hungry or really hungry it's very strange. I only eat three times a day no snacks or junk and drink my fluids. I bought some gross protien drink from GNC pinapple orange and bannana tasted like water with a bananna after taste yuck! I mix it with my crystal light pink lemonade and it's much better. Can't wait for some real food! I never noticed how much food they sell on tv before it's no wonder we have such a weight problem in this country. Untill next time Peace.......

Going to make me some steak tip chili But a nice piece of filet mignon has my name on it and that's first on the hit list! Update 9/16/05
Well it's almost a year since I had my surgery and I feel GREAT! I can walk, stand, and do things I couldn't do since I was young. It feel so great to go to the movies or a concert and not have to worry if my fat butt will fit in the chair or worse break it.
I'm 75lbs or so away from goal and I cant wait! I've gone down four sizes in my clothes and no longer go to the tent maker to have my clothes made :). Anyway life is good!

What is dealing with them like? I didnt have to call them, the DR. Office took care of everything. How much do you think they stall? They didn't Do you sense that they respond to persistence? Don't know I was approved after 2 weeks What, if anything, would you recommend to others with this company? No advice I had no problems at all.
