Just wanted to let everyone know that I went for my 2 week check up. I can be more happier with the band right now. I have lost 18lbs since surgery and I can believe it. I hope that it continues so i will be at goal in about a year. I wont no what to do not having to carry all this extra weight around anymore. I am going to start exercising so I can boost my weight loss. I think when the scale keeps moving in the right direction it will finally give me the motivation that I need to stick with this. I dont no what is going on but this time I am more commited than I ever have been before. So everyone that reads this keep your fingers crossed that I can do this and not have another failure on my belt. I have been following the docs rules to the t so I hope it pays off. Till next time I will keep moving down the losers bench and hopefully it wont be long and I will fall off the other side.

Just got the approval from the insuraunce company and I have been scheduled for the 26th of september.

March 2008

Well this is turning out to be a long journey. I got my denial letter in the mail and they said that I needed to do another 6 month diet because I didnt have enough notes. I guess they want me to feel more like a failure than I already do. I feel like I have been on a diet my hole life. I have got 3 months left on the diet so I hope it will be over quick. My doc was actually proud of me this weigh in I have lost 17 pounds in a month and I dont no what I did different. I am so ready to join everyone and be a bandster that I am trying to find a way to pay for it my self but that aint going to happen

Finally got all my pre-testing completed for the insuraunce. Going to see the doc next wed.
