"Dr. Kaul is a very impressive surgeon; extremely well-qualified, excellent performance indicators as far as complications and the like, well-respected by many others in the medical community. AND I had a terrific experience with him and my lap RNY in early January 2009. In addition to a virtually problem free surgery and hospitalization, he was sensitive and compassionate and attentive to my needs. I had the same impression about the other surgeons in his practice. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any others seeking WLS!rnrnThat said, I was not quite as impressed with his office staff, who while all lovely people and very caring, were simply not as well-organized and efficient as I would have liked. Information was not always passed along correctly. Instructions and aftercare instructions were inconsistent both from one staff person to another, as well as between different written materials. None of this should put off a prospective patient, as the impacts were minor and more than out-weighed by Dr. Kaul's excellence as surgeon and physician."
