So I was thinking... is anybody interested in a coffee group date in May?? I would like to meet in either Hopkins, Edina or Plymouth. What do you all think?

I just bought some Premier protein shakes at Sam's club that have 30gms of whey protein GREAT! huh? So As I was wheeling them out i asked the service desk if I could bring them back if I didnt like them, and they said, .............."Yes, bring them right back for a refund!" So there you go! You can go to Sam's and take stuff home, if  you do not like them, you can bring them back. But, this is the best protein shake I have tasted and this include Muscle Milk, and it has the most protein.

Well, I am 3 weeks post op tomorrow and I find myself having emotions and heightened anxiety that I did not have before. Has anyone experienced this? I say this because I was never an emotional eater before, but now I find myself wanting to cry more and feeling a bit of despair. Yes, it does pass after a bit, but I am not aware of what is going on. Lastly, I find myself more anxiety riden. For example, I am worried about everything now. I am worried that my family is in danger sometimes. I am worried that something bad will happen. Please let me know if this is normal for you? Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

It has been a whirlwind. I received my approval before the beginning of Dec. AND I had my ultrasound and meeting with my surgeon on 12/6. I have been scheduled for surgery on 12/14 due to my insurance changing in 2011... So lets start the countdown: T-3 days!!

Ok, ya'll i totally charged threw the paperwork, phone sessions and all. My paperwork was submitted on Nov. 12th, 2010. I went to the first information session Sept. 7th. I am trying so hard to have everything in order. I just cannot take this waiting. To make things worse... I just found out yesterday, that my insurance now approves the VSG. GREAT!!! This was my first choice, but when I started all of this, it was not on their list, so my doctor sent the paperwork in with RNY. ...

OK, this was fine, because I could not have VSG, RNY was my next best step. So, come Monday Nov. 22, all of this gets to start over again. BOO! I hope I can surgery by Dec. 31st, because if I cant, my insurance will not cover WLS next year. I am a bit discouraged and sad about this all.

I will keep pushing. Until I hear "No", I will keep pushing.
