Had my first post-op doctor's visit. LOST 13 lbs and doing great! I feel great! Life is good!

I feel good! I sleep good! My energy is coming back and I am ready to move down this road to the thin person inside me! I will be glad to the next level in my food plan though. The shakes start to get old.
as do the pudding and jello! SF popsicles are good though, especially the Lifesaver ones. I have lots of projects to work on and now is the time to get busy. My daughter goes to camp tomorrow. I close on my condon on Monday and life moves on. I have a smile on my face and am ready to go.

June 19 - 1 week post op

Life is rapidly changing! My approach to food is changing! AND I am not hungry!!! 
Yesterday I met a friend at Starbucks. I drank unsweetened tea and TALKED! no eating....I didn't even look to see what was in the case! This is such a new way of life for me and I am so excited. It is hard to believe that it has been one week since surgery. The first few days were a blur (medication induced). But everyday I feel better and better. Life is good!

On the road again

I am feeling better. Surgery was Tuesday, I came home Thursday and now I feel like I am coming out of the fog. But for the first time in my entire life I am not hungry. Totally amazing!!!
