I have been reading on lapband procedures for awhile now and have made a decision to follow up to see if it's a possibility for me.  The final straw was going out to eat with friends and having to squeeze into the booth.  I was afraid that I was going to have to tell them we couldn't sit there.  I sucked it in and held my breath throughout dinner.  I called my insurance and they said that it was a covered procedure.  Whether or not that means it' covered for me .....  Well, we'll have to see.  I have scheduled a consult with Dr Cottingham for next week and we'll see what happens.
