I am so excited....and nervous! I met with my surgeon this week and my surgery date is scheduled for 3/11/10. Finally! It has been a long process but I have learned a lot along the way and feel prepared physically and emotionally. I know it is going to be difficult, but I also know it will be worth it!

I want to bend over and tie my shoes without my stomach hurting and getting out of breath. I want to fly on an airplane and not need a seatbelt extension. I want to feel comfortable in my own skin. I want it to be as easy to jog for 30 minutes as it is to drink water. I want to be seen for who I am rather than who I'm not. I don't want someone I've never met to mouth "fatty" to me in a crowd.  I don't want an underweight dietician to tell me " you haven't made any progress but at least you're still coming". I want to be healthy. I want to be my best self. I want to succeed. I want to start living again.....I will start living again.
